The boys had their eyes and one hand on the Cup as a frenetic first half ended with OTA 3-1 up thanks to a lob from McCalla and well-earned brace from C. Simpson.

In the 2nd half, Manni Sports mounted a great comeback and went ahead 4-3 with not long left to go.

As an example of the strides made this season, the lads didn’t let their heads drop and Horgan headed home from a great A. Simpson crss in the dying seconds.

It was then onto the lottery that is penalties and we didn’t cover ourselves in glory from the spot, losing the shootout 3-1.
